The RI Parole Board and Sex Offender Community Notification Unit will hold a Public Hearing to solicit the opinions and comments of interested parties, and to consider the permanent adoption of revised Parole Board and Sex Offender Community Notification Guidelines and Policies, which are used to evaluate parole applicants who are serving sentences at the Adult Correctional Institutions and offenders subject to communtiy notification, pursuant to the General Laws of RI, 11-8-14.1 and 11-37.1-1. Notice is hereby given that the Parole Board will hold this Public Hearing on Thursday, June 12, 2008 at 4:30pm at the John O. Pastore Compex, Varley Building, Regan Court, Cranston, Rhode Island. Statements may be submitted in writing at the time of the hearing or mailed to the Chairperson, Lisa S. Holley, prior to that hearing date.

Copies of the current Parole Board Guidelines and SOCN Unit Guidelines and Policies are available for public inspection on our website www.paroleboard.ri.gov Individuals requesting interpreter services for the hearing impaired are requested to notify the Parole Board Office at 401-462-0900, 72 hours in advance of the hearing.
